How gematria works

gematria is a system of assigning numerical values to letters and words that originated in ancient Jewish culture. It involves calculating the sum of the numerical values of each letter in a word or phrase and assigning a numerical value to the word as a whole. This system has been used as an occult practice, as well as an aid in understanding scripture and uncovering hidden messages within.

At its base level, gematria works by assigning each letter of an alphabet with specific numeric values. Once these numeric values are assigned, one can simply add up all the numbers for each letter in a word or phrase to get a total sum. Often times, different alphabets have different numeric values assigned to their letters so it's important to know which alphabet is being used when performing calculations.

Another common use of gematria is to find significance between two words whose total sums are the same even though they do not share any letters with one another. This connection is referred to as a 'Gematria Equivalence' and can be used by scholars and occultists alike to decipher deeper meanings behind words or phrases. To do this, one must first analyze the structure of words (including root words) and match up their respective numerologies until they discover a common pattern between them.

The usage of Gematria throughout history has widely varied from being used to prove analogies in religious texts (as was the case for early Christian authors), unlock hidden messages encrypted within works of literature, or answered questions concerning hidden mysteries from around the world - such as those posed by Illuminati conspiracy theorists!
